The Director General of Tuban District, Mohsen Al-Saqqaf, appreciated the serious steps taken by the Wedyan Association for Society Development in adopting development projects for farmers and rural women in Lahj, praising the pioneering role of the association in addressing the concerns of the simple community in the Lahj.

This came during a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Wedyan Association, Eng. Ammar Mohammed Saleh, to discuss the most important interventions that the association will undertake in the field of supporting and training small farmers and also the economic empowerment of rural women. Al-Saqqaf stressed the importance of these projects that increase individual income, which benefits the family and society in general, according to his expression.

In a related context, the most important agricultural interventions were discussed with specialists in the Agriculture Office, where the Secretary-General of the Association stressed the importance and role of the Agriculture Office in the governorate in providing guidance and direction for the optimal use of modern means and methods in agriculture.
